I hope they reboot this series to its roots rather than some corridor TPS/FPS, a 2D/2.5 game would be inexpensive to make and they could slap it on everything under the sun for $15. I fired it up recently and I could barely get past train. I lost more lives playing that game than I have ever have in a souls game. Now I would just watch a youtube video but back then me and my friends got through that game 1 death at a time. Figuring out what weapons to use in various situations, memorizing patterns and staying frosty enough to hold it together to S-Rank that game is my greatest gaming achievement.
